Illness in our Scoil Rince Ni Riada Family

As most of our parents know, the Wilson family found out recently that their daughter Naomi has a disease called Aplastic Anemia.

The links below help to explain what this is:

It’s the reason why, in our monday classes, we use hand sanitizer before the kids hold hands in ceili and they are sent straight to wash their hands after sneezes and the like. We have to be extra careful not to send the boys home with extra germs.

It’s important to let the school know if your child has a cold or any illness. If they are sick, it is best to keep them home and schedule a make up.

If any of you would like to keep up with Naomi’s fight, here is the caring bridge link:

Scoil Rince Ni Riada hopes that the treatment will work and Naomi can return to a normal childhood very soon. Naomi is in our thoughts and prayers.
